Taare Zameen Par- A Heart Touching Story

Who says that movies are just made with a sole ambition of mindless entertainment without any educative knowledge or moral values? In an era of mindless comedies and action flix which have nothing in them except loads of immoral stuffs here comes a movie breaking all paths toshow that the flair of Indian cinema is not yet gone. Taare Zameen par drives home a strong message, making you emphatize with the kid, compelling you to draw parallels with your life,making one realize that some of the renowned geniuses were once scoffed at, but the world had tto bow down to their intellect later.

Released on 25th December 2007 Taare Zameen Par is a story which speaks about the fate of a dyslexic child Ishaan (brilliantly portrayed by Darsheel) and his day to day dealings with life. He is filled with wonders which no one else seems to appreciate. When he gets into far more troubles, he is packed off and sent to a boarding school. Things are no different at his new school and Ishaan has to contend with tthe trauma of separation from his family

One day a new teacher bursts into the class who infects the students with hope and optimism. He breaks all rules of 'how things are done' by asking them to think, dream and imagine. He discovers that Ishaan is a dyslexic child and ultimately helps him to find himself.

A number of sequences in the movie make you spell bound and leave you moist eyed. The bonding between Ishaan and his mother is remarkable. But the best part is reserved for the finale.The art competition in the penultimate twenty minutes. The emotions reach a all time high as the child regains his confidence.The movie also speaks about the present education system in India which is purely based on mugging and bookish knowledge.Taare Zameen Par entirely belongs to Darsheel who enacts the role of Ishaan.A performance that makes the best of performance pale in comparison. On the whole Taare Zameen Par is an outstanding work of cinema.
On whole I would just say one thing for those who have not seen this movie “Do yourself a favour, watch Taare Zameen Par".
